Community Engagement Overview
Help us create a Plan that builds resilience and sustainability for Napa's future! Community engagement ensures the Regional Climate Action and Adaptation Plan (RCAAP) truly represents the diverse communities across the Napa region. We want to hear from you!
The Napa County Resource Conservation District (Napa RCD) will lead countywide community engagement efforts for the RCAAP. How will my input be used?

- Tailor strategies to address specific local challenges and opportunities.
- Shape the RCAAP to ensure actions benefit all members of the community
- Ensure greater community support for implementation.
Community Meetings
Community meetings provide an opportunity for residents and interested individuals to inform, consult, get involved, and collaborate with the County, Cities and Town on the RCAAP. Community meetings may include a presentation by the project team, question and answer opportunities, and/or small or large group- activities. Community input received in these meetings will inform the development of greenhouse gas emission reduction and climate adaptation strategies, sustainability initiatives, and implementation programs.

Survey and Vision Boards
The survey is a tool to help us understand community strengths, vulnerabilities, and priorities. Input will directly shape the RCAAP and guide efforts toward inclusivity, ensuring diverse perspectives from residents, businesses, nonprofits, community organizations, advocacy groups, and frontline communities are included. The survey closed on August 21st and we appreciate all the input received.
Vision boards offer a unique and interactive way for you to share your ideas, view others' input, and react to feedback. The questions on the vision boards are designed to elicit a variety of responses, ensuring we capture all necessary information as we develop the RCAAP. Share your thoughts on the Vision Boards today!
